Mrs. Ranjana Desai, Member Secretary Mr. Pankaj Jain (IAS), and other members of the Commission. The delegation of Maharashtra State Old Pension Organization (#MRJPS) presented a detailed PPT covering 16 major issues including demand for Old Pension Scheme, 5-family unit formula, 3.8 fitment factor, minimum salary ₹65,000, HRA increase and anomalies, gratuity enhancement, pension reforms, increment reforms, restoration of special increments, anomalies in 10-20-30 progression, and implementation for teachers. The Commission listened carefully and took note of all issues raised. During the break, senior members personally appreciated the presentation. Key Demands Presented: 1) Redefinition of Family Unit Increase from 3 to 5 members (including parents). 2) Minimum Salary should be ₹65,000 3) Fitment Factor should be 3.8.. ( It was 2.57 in 7th CPC) 4) Minimum DA increase of 4% 5) HRA Reforms Delinking from DA and increasing rates to 12%, 24%, 36%. 6) TA increase by 2.5 times 7) Higher allowance for difficult/PESA areas 8) 10-20-30 progression for teachers 9) Pay anomalies correction Issue of no increment during Level 6 to 7 upgrade highlighted. 10) Annual increment from 3% to 5% 11) Restoration of performance-based special increment 12) Pension Reforms A) Implementation of OPS Demand to extend OPS to 8.5 million NPS employees. @ManjeetIMOPS Manjeet ji #FNPO demands 8th CPC #fitment_factor should be b/w 3 to 3.25. It sounds quite logical & a legitimate demand too. AINPSEF should not agree on anything below this figure..
