I do not have a clue who most of the people are in the recent FKR universe happenings nor do I really want/need to, but from the very limited I have seen: - We all really need to have productive work, hobbies or interests to keep us busy - offline - in order to be positive, healthy people/members of society. I am not passing judgment with this statement - I also needed/need to be reminded of that regularly. - Karen Read is an innocent woman who was framed by a corrupt State/LE, which is seemingly a fact that most everyone in the FKR can agree on... so, its been wildly disheartening, gross & alarming to see how many of her "supporters" somehow believe they/TB/et al are owed her time, attention, or even her warmth/kindness, who have seemingly pulled their support of her when they have deemed her attitude/personality to be off-putting or ungrateful or some shit, I don't know. The woman simply did not ask for her boyfriend to killed, did not ask to be framed by the government, & did not ask to be thrust into the national spotlight. If advocacy & support of innocent people & speaking out against corruption is carried out with conditions & caveats attached, I think we'd all be better off abandoning that work altogether. That isn't advocacy; it's performative, self-important & the opposite of justice (which is not reserved only for those we like or agree with, believe it or not). Anyways, I don't really blame her for avoiding certain spaces & people. Let that fucking woman live her life. With friends/supporters like these... YEESH.
