Went exploring some glavel this morning as I'd never been along the riverside path, so headed out that way and came back to town via the canal #cycling #GenesisBikes #adventurebike #morningride #Taunton
Rode the Genesis today but I've swapped the puncture prone Gravel Kings for the G-one's temporarily until my new Pirelli Cinturato arrive for this bike #cycling #GenesisBikes #adventurebike #schwalbetyres
.... then all that was left was to take a hydration break and head home 🚴♂️🥵🍺😎🌅👍 #cycling #GenesisBikes #LEJOG
Another bike check done, in 36°c heat this time. But also needed to get another bottle cage for my tools, get some electrolyte tabs & collect my train tickets for today.... 🚴♂️🌞😎🔥 #cycling #GenesisBikes #LEJOG
The New Vagabond 20!
When you want to ride everywhere and have fun while doing it. The Vagabond is a firm favourite among explorers who don't want to be limit the terrain they can ride.
Big load capacity, huge tyre clearance and all day comfort.

Before (left) with the old wheels, saddle & bar tape.
After (right) with the Shimano RX010 wheels, new Panaracer Gravel King slick tyres, Madison Flux Classic saddle & some bar tape to match. Now I my may be biased but I think she looks 😍

Job done ✔️
Took a lot longer than I anticipated, but I haven't done it in years. I think I got there on 3rd time lucky.
I'll save the big reveal for the morning, it'll look better in daylight. But Mol's is looking mighty fine now 👌😍 #cycling #GenesisBikes #ukcyclechat
Pictures from an afternoon shopping trip to Exeter on the new Genesis. I can't fault this bike, it's a solid machine, so agile and so responsive despite it's overall weight.
The clanking is still there though 😩
#cycling #GenesisBikes
But I have an idea what it might be... 🤔
Christ, I'm gonna need thighs like Chris Hoy for LEJOG, the bikes heavy enough now without any luggage 😳
Is it to late to swap it for an e-bike? 😂 #cycling #LEJOG #steelbike #GenesisBikes
Had an idea this morning & it was before I had my coffee 💡☕️ (yeah, I know!)
Where will the rear light go? 🤔
Then I remembered the Tailfin rear light mount I had (*the only part of my Tailfin aeropack I've used so far 🫣)
Sorted 😁👍

Part one of the transformation complete. I needed some spacers for the front mudguard to fit over the disc brakes. Took bloody ages, fiddly job. Swear tin is now overflowing. Pannier rack was easiest to fit. Pleased with that 😁👍 #cycling #newbike #touringbike #GenesisBikes
In the words of Michael Caine in the Italian Job... "Hold on lads, I've got an idea" 🫣😁 #cycling #sksmudguards #gravelbike #discbrakeproblems
Aside from my fruitless trip back to the bike shop to have the clanking investigated. I did a bit of shopping at another shop in Exmouth, went for a casual cruise along the seafront and stopped at Aby's kitchen for coffee 🌞🚴♂️😎☕️👌 #cycling #GenesisBikes #CroixDeFer #newbike
It was also a double cake stop day. However, bikes going back to the shop tomorrow. Something is not right with the BB on it 😕 #cycling #sundayride #GenesisBikes
The bike handled the Exmoor hills brilliantly. Coffee and cske was had in Exford ☕️🍰👌 #cycling #sundayride #GenesisBikes
Had a wonderful day today out on the new bike, putting it through it's paces on Exmoor #cycling #GenesisBikes #sundayride 🚴♂️🌞😎
