The case challenges Maryland’s post-Bruen “sensitive place” bans — mass transit, parks and forests, many healthcare facilities, places of amusement, and anywhere that serves alcohol on-site, including restaurants. The Fourth Circuit upheld that scheme.
Wolford held that the Second Amendment protects carry as people go about daily life. This reply argues Maryland’s web of location bans is incompatible with that holding and with the nation’s historical tradition. We are asking the Court to grant certiorari, or GVR in light of Wolford.

🇺🇸 ANOTHER WOMAN STABBED ON PUBLIC TRANSIT - THIS TIME IN CHICAGO
A 27-year-old woman was stabbed in the chest while sitting on a bench at the UIC-Halsted Blue Line platform late Saturday night.
The attacker, described by police as wearing a pink beanie and carrying a knife, fled the scene and is still at large.
This comes just three months after Ukrainian refugee Iryna Zarutska was murdered on Charlotte’s light rail.
Public transit in major cities is becoming a no-go zone, especially for women, and leaders keep pretending it’s normal.
How many more before they admit the system is broken?
