#HIT3Review - Overtly gruesome, meanders in the second half after a fantastic start - ⭐️⭐️1/2
Finally watched the film on #Netflix. Had an amazing first half and the tension was arresting. The suspense factor worked wonderfully well and the interval block was simply superb. The film was absolutely solid as #Nani went on a hunt for serial killer(s).
However the film meandered in the second half, and how. The whole underground cult element was established well but extended action sequences either gruesome violence and absolute bloodshed was a put off. Also, the film seemed never ending and #Prateik’s casting seemed rather odd too.
Yes, #Nani gave his all and at places there was a clear #Rajinikanth influence visible too, which was a plus. The production values were bigger than the first two parts and the liberal use of Hindi and shooting at North India locations gave it a pan-India feel too.
If only the film was shorter by at least 30 minutes, violence in control and second half tighter then #HIT3 could well have covered a much larger distance.
