I just bought this new (to iPad) drone synth, Harmonal Binaurics by Faded Instruments. This is based on brainwave entrainment, but I’m mainly interested in the sound, and I do really like how this can sound. But it’s a little pricey, I feel, at $13, for the iPad version, given that the UI is rather basic and the contrast is not ideal, meaning I have to really crank the iPad brightness to use it. Overall, I definitely like it and it has some really good features, including a nice Slew control which slows down how quickly changes to knobs are heard.
