Sad day in #KISStory. 11/24/1991 we lost Eric Carr ( Paul Caravello) to that nasty C word. Paul auditioned for #KISS 6/23/1980 at 1:30 pm. 5 tunes. #BlackDiamond , #Strutter, #Firehouse, #IsThatYou and #DetroitRockCity. Then a short solo. All of which is videotaped. Then asks for autographs and shakes hands. Mind you. The drumset set forth was a double kick. WHOEVER got the gig ? Was going to be a technical upgrade. On 6/27/80 Paul is called back for audition two. Eric eventually hired… was not deemed Rusty Blades as he suggested but Eric Carr. First gig was #Unmasked kick off show at Palladium 7/25/80 in NYC followed by over seas tour. As Elder had NO tour… stateside would wait until 12/82 for EC to be unleashed stateside live on tour for #COTN. Eric held the drummer spot until 11/91 when he passed. I met the man one time. An un assuming sweetheart. He IS missed . RIP🙏🏻
