(1/2) "One of the main objectives of the VI Ministerial Meeting of the Energy and Climate Partnership of the Americas (ECPA) was to follow up on the implementation of the #IXSummit mandates on just transition to clean, sustainable and renewable energy.
In this workshop, the civil society acquired the skills required to reach consensus through dialogue and analysis of the #IXSummit mandates.
This week, civil society and social actors of the Americas are discussing and analyzing cases on "Sustainable and Green Future", "Clean, Sustainable and Renewable Energy", and "Democratic Governance", three of the five thematic axes of the #IXSummit of the Americas.

Today, the III Meeting of the Ad Hoc Technical Group on Democratic Governance took place, which focused on Human Rights and Democracy: Protection of the rights of Afro-descendants in the Americas, mandate 9.b. of the corresponding document of the #IXSummit.
Chaired by Secretary for Hemispheric Affairs @JMLambert1, the #JSWG institutions met to brief the Chair of the Summits Process and the Summits Secretariat on progress in implementing the results of #IXSummit and #CitiesSummit.

Participating States reached a preliminary consensus on the Action Plan on #Health and #Resilience at the VI Meeting of the Ad Hoc Technical Group led by Dr. Nelson Arboleda, Dir. of the Office of the Americas of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.
