My letter to the #IBTS @Giveblood_ied_ie
Dear “Person”,
Thank you. Please forward my reply to the relevant individuals.
I understand the need for clarity and truth on behalf of the donor, it is in fact paramount to responsible donation.
As you know I’ve donated quite happily thirty six times and have no issues in continuing, my issue was and is, that the question, (Are you the same sex that was assigned to you at birth?) is anti-reality and makes a mockery of the person asking and answering said question.
To answer in the negative or the positive suggests one believes in the premise of the question, that sex is assigned! Sex is not assigned, by anyone, it is fundamentally who you are. It is in the bedrock of an individuals DNA. No one can assign sex or change sex. A man without a penis is not a woman, he is a castrated man. A woman without breasts is not a man, she is the recipient of a double mastectomy.
This gender ideology nonsense has harmed so many vulnerable young people and opened the flood gates to perverse and creepy men who can then gain access to female spaces. It is not inclusive or empowering it is harmful. Instead of teaching children that there is nothing wrong with their bodies and helping them to love who they actually are, they are teaching kids to hate themselves and that by taking irreversible drugs and operations that they can somehow “feel” normal, madness and completely without compassion or empathy, or a bases in science or reality.
I would love to continue my donations but I will not bow to anti-reality harmful ideologies. When the questions are again tempered with responsible reality based language please reach out so I may continue to donate, until then, unfortunately, I will not donate.
