He was an Imam in a mosque in Italy, living there with his family. He had a car, a house, a good salary – his life was set! He had both religious and worldly comforts. One day, the same bug that often infects mullahs in India and Pakistan started crawling inside him. The Imam got carried away during his Friday sermon. He angrily declared that whoever doesn't believe in I$lam is an infidel, and it is obligatory to wage war against infidels. You're living in their country, eating & drinking there, and yet you're calling them infidels. Calling them infidels was one thing, but you're declaring war on them is other thing. The Italian govt packed up his entire family's belongings & sent them back to Pakistan. Now the Imam is unemployed & wandering around.

I have been dreaming about this moment since over 20 years ago, when I began this journey. I always feared it may never happen. But Alhamdulillah it finally came true! I don't have enough words to express how grateful I am to Allah for easing my path at every juncture, for helping me up every time I slip, healing me when I got hurt and for showering kindness in different forms much beyond what i deserve. May Allah forgive my sins and accept my Umrah.
