I dont have any reference for comparison but if i have to rate this book i rate it as VERY GOOD. It doesnt have any rigid anti-fun exercises, it keeps you drawing while explaining the theory. Its like your grandpa is trying to show you how to draw.

Ellipses are just circles in perspective. Deep. And drawing through really helps to feel the form.

I hate shoes. Ugh. More accurately shoelaces. Horrendous things. We should abandon shoelaces and use only zips or Hook-and-loop fastener.

I learned how to make my own brushes. It finally allowed me to get closer to the texture of the reference. Its not really complex but to make brush look good is its own skill to train.
It is still more of blurry than sharp but i take it.

I like the chicken scratch style with no dynamics. Just you and 1 pixel wide black line. No other bullshit. Too bad the creations look really awful.

Really dodson? Some colors are more bright than others? And then they look differently in shadow? Wow.
Today i am not happy with the results at all and i dont feel i learned anything. Oh well, not every day you can have breakthrough.
