Latest: explicit sexts to multiple women after his marriage, flagged by his own wife to the campaign. How many red flags did Democrats need? • Deleted Reddit posts with racist rants and victim-blaming on sexual assault. • A tattoo that looked suspiciously like a Nazi symbol (which he later covered up). • Now, marital sexting scandals that his own wife warned the campaign about. This isn’t “one bad story.” It’s a pattern. Platner rocketed up as the Bernie-backed anti-establishment darling, oyster farmer/Marine with viral populist speeches. Democrats cleared the field and crowned him the presumptive nominee against Susan Collins anyway. They knew the baggage. They saw the stories drop months ago. But “character doesn’t matter when we need the seat” was the vibe.
