Today was such a relaxed day there was space for a little silliness.
A student went with me to โscareโ a teacher with a spider puppet. Afterwards the teacher put up this sign, which made the spider sad. ๐คฃ

My favorite day of celebrating teacher appreciation week was our mobile hydration station.
Popped in with luau music and a lei. We offered a custom teacher menu:
soda + flavor
It definitely spread some smiles through the building!

We celebrated National Bike to School day a little early. I rode to school with about 100 kids from PreK to 5th grade. Thankful for @ottawapd and parents that rode along and helped direct traffic!

Thank you @olatheschools for letting us come visit some kindergarten classes today! We loved learning from @BrandiMichaelis and hearing how purposeful play is implemented!

Today I passed out 4 turkeys (pocket size). Staff had to ask each other โDo you have a turkey in your pocket?โ Turkey holders at end of day get @Starbucks on me!
SO MUCH fun but the best part was seeing staff engaging with each other all day!

Last minute we had no subs for 2 of my 3 sections of 2nd grade, so I pulled them all into the library and we read Hugo and the Impossible Thing and did some dreaming! ๐
