Morning visitation from a snake.
A copperhead racer, long as my leg, with a neck that flattens vertically to seem bigger when we get closer. It turns towards me defensively, ready for a fight.

An odd bug we found climbing the wall near our ginger bed. It had six little legs, and was frilled with spikes, and had a pair of long spikes on its butt.
What is it? A baby moth?

She is on medication now, and we have to watch her condition. We're due back to the vet in two weeks. We have to force feed her food with a syringe, if she refuses to eat.

Heard a baby keening in the dark, so stepped out into the garden to check.
Turned out it was this to young civet cat, calling its horniness. Aiyo, why no valentine, little musang? Why so lonely???
