.@AntiWuCoalition a/k/a @ErinforBoston is the last person that should be giving political insight. She only ran to the political center and even on occasion to the right after watching my 2020 congressional run. While Republicans at the time refused to give the #MA07 the respect that it deserved, more than a few Democrats were watching the race closely and taking notes. Murphy was one of them. She saw that with a “D” after her name, she could make some of the same points that I did and still garner support.
Let me be abundantly clear. Before my run, no Republican dared even consider a run against @AyannaPressley. Now, it is no longer outside the realm of possibility. Since my race, more Democrats have tacked right on issues. One notable example is Annissa Essaibi George, who ran for mayor of Boston as a liberal Republican, in spite of being affiliated with the Democratic Party.
So, who in the blazes is Erin Murphy to talk about who could win a political race and by how much? Someone should bring up her recent bid for the SJC Clerk of Suffolk County office if she decides to get lippy.

I still think that this is hilarious. A few years ago, Ayanna Pressley had to turn to her colleague in Florida to learn about the Haitian culture and people, notwithstanding the presence of a very big and important community in #MA07. In all of her years on the Boston City Council, she learned nothing about this group.
Honestly, people of color, regardless of their provenance, do not need Pressley to represent them. In fact, people of all colors and ethnic backgrounds need someone that is going to fight for them.
I am tired of the charade. I am tired of Pressley’s shtick.
