The #MATAct is a step in the right direction to address inequities in health outcomes for people with opioid use disorder. Now with effective and proven treatments like buprenorphine, there’s a life-saving treatment for people facing opioid addiction.
The #overdosecrisis has devastated many communities who have been unable to access life saving treatment. We are proud to see the passage of the #MATAct, as it gives hope for many, and their loved ones.
More than 108K people died from overdose in the past year, and our coalition said NO MORE. We helped pass the #MATAct to prevent more deaths from opioid overdose, and to provide hope for those seeking treatment.
