Our South Commercial Vehicle Unit stopped this 3.5T vehicle in @MPSGreenwich ⛔️ Found to have exceeded the max weight by 40%. ⛔️ Also had defective power steering. ⛔️ A Diesel leak. It has been prohibited for the weight and the 2 defects #MPSCVU

This vehicle was stopped in @MPSWestminster today. A 3500kg vehicle weighing in at 7300kg. ⛔️ Vehicle prohibited ⛔️ Driver prosecuted - Exceeded axle & gross vehicle weight ❗️Overloaded vehicles are dangerous & place additional stresses on tyres, suspension & brakes. #MPSCVU

2/2 it was quickly discovered that the vehicle had been reported #Stolen and the driver was wanted for a variety of offences including Theft of Motor Vehicle The driver was #Arrested & vehicle recovered #MPSCvu #TDJ #TeamWork

Officers were patrolling the #M25 @MPSHavering when they saw this 13T #HGV towing a trailer Vehicle was stopped where it was found the driver only had a C1 licence, not a CE Driver educated around Tacho offences but reported for licence offences & vehicle #seized #MPSCvu #TDJ
