I oppose any policy or position that would further burden Maine families, businesses, and industry. As Governor, I will always prioritize Maine, even if that means taking a position contrary to the national elites of my own party. I plan to be in Washington shortly after the election and will work with the President to reduce the burden on Mainers caused by an escalating trade war.
