Alberta separation is being sold as a grassroots revolt. On Prairie Watchdog, this episode argues it is something else: a plan already on a calendar. The playbook is older than this referendum. The Free Alberta Strategy, published in September 2021, set out the steps: a sovereignty act, an Alberta police force, an Alberta revenue agency, and an end to equalization, with independence if Ottawa would not yield. Pieces of that agenda have been government policy since Danielle Smith took office. The October 19 vote is the next date on the schedule, not the start of it. A yes would not be a binding exit. It would tell the Alberta government to begin the legal process toward another referendum. Independence groups have already published a transition sequence running from this fall into 2027. That is not a spontaneous uprising. It is a plan. Worth the time before you mark a ballot. https://t.co/IiA4TnCjLs #NoToAll9 #RemainInCanada #StrongerTogetherAB #StopTheHate
