Occupy your representatives' local offices. This isn't performative; it's our civic duty. Fill their halls, make demands and hold them accountable.
Our community has a message, and representative Jimmy Panetta needs to hear it loud and clear.

@elonmusk You can take over the House entirely within a single off-year election.
Once you do, the House sets its own rules and controls the budget.
Maximum leverage. Call it #OccupyCongress
You can even be elected Speaker of the House without running for Congress.
Elon starting a new party is stupid, but there IS a way to #OccupyCongress by taking over the House in a single election cycle.
House rules are new each session, so you can remake it how you see fit.
Elon could become Speaker without even winning an election.
I focus on solutions for three problems:
1. How do we get the US gov't back on track fast? For that, #OccupyCongress
2. How do we get the culture we want, without a vote? For that, private societies.
3. How do we make better decisions going forward? Explain the West lost WW2.
#OccupyCongress, the tweet:
Curtis Yarvin has argued that the President today doesn't have even a fraction of the power of past Presidents such as FDR. Instead, he claims, the power lies with Congress and the bureaucracy.
#OccupyCongress is a concrete plan to leverage this knowledge.
The core idea is to convert the House of Representatives into a dedicated anti-Federalist institution emphasizing strong oversight of the sprawling Federal bureaucracy, under a Caesar-like Speaker of the House.
This is 100% Constitutional and populist-compatible, since it can be enacted in a single election cycle. Here's why:
1. The House sets its own rules each session.
2. The Speaker of the House is voted on by House reps, but does NOT need to be otherwise elected by the people. (No term limits, either.)
3. You only need a simple majority to control the House.
can succeed with just one, populist push.
4. All House representatives are up for re-election every 2 years. This means that#OccupyCongress
5. The oversight abilities of Congress are vast. They only SEEM limited because Congress itself has no incentive (or desire) to actually oversee the Federal bureaucracy.
6. The Constitution is a Federalist document, passed in 1789.
7. The Bill of Rights is an anti-Federalist document, passed in 1791.
8. Thus, the "Constitution" as we know it today is a POWER-SHARING AGREEMENT between Federalists, representing government, and anti-Federalists, representing the People.
9. The Bill of Rights (1791) is a limitation on the Federalist Constitution (1789). It is NOT a "unified" document as Federalists today claim—it MUST be read "in order", with the Bill of Rights limiting everything that came before it.
10. Federalists operate the government. There is no anti-Federalist power center in the government today.
11. Thus, Federalists have been responsible for upholding the terms of the power-sharing agreement, historically.
12. Federalists have steadily eroded enforcing the Bill of Rights at almost every opportunity up to the present. Everyone agrees this is true.
13. When the founders were asked about this obvious problem, they shrugged and suggested that violence could fix it. ("Blood of tyrants", etc.)
14. Violence has not "fixed" it, and is unlikely to in the future. Instead, the Federalists have grown their power into the largest government ever conceived by man.
15. Much of the legislation, executive actions, and court decisions over the years are blatant, textbook violations of the Bill of Rights.
16. That means that much of the (Federalist) laws in place today are "unconstitutional."
Here are the specifics:
That's the background on how we got here, and the legal basis for #OccupyCongress
The basic concept is simple: establish a new political party in opposition to the Federalist "Democratic-Republican" party, that has the following mandate:
1. We will use Congressional oversight powers to red line existing unconstitutional legislation, executive orders, and court decisions so that they are brought back into compliance with the Bill of Rights.
THIS DOES NOT REQUIRE PASSING LEGISLATION.
#OccupyCongress will utilize its co-equal powers to inform the public where this has happened, so they can act accordingly. If a Federalist has done something unconstitutional, it is ALREADY in violation and can be ignored by the American people.
2. We will use Congressional oversight powers and the House budget (currently over $1B annually) to exercise direct executive oversight of the sprawling Federal bureaucracy.
This does not mean "hold hearings." This means sending our people on site and instructing them on what to do. The House will operate as a top-down, executive-lead, mission driven organization and bring the Federal bureaucracy to heal.
Remember: there is no part of the Federal bureaucracy that is Constitutionally allowed to operate independently of Congress, or without oversight.
Anyone attempting to do so will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law, as well as being held in contempt of Congress and arrested.
The scope of what can be done with the House's oversight power is as vast as the Federal government itself.
#OccupyCongress can stay out of ("neutral") on foreign entanglements.
3. We will take a hands-off approach to the American empire, including foreign aid and war funding. By leaving that to the Senate, President, and State Dept,
(Many of you won't like this, but it is a necessary political strategy to avoid excessive conflict with the regime.)
4. We will use war funding to pass legislation beneficial for the American people.
This is the best, most effective leverage the American people have because the regime in power since WW2 is primarily a war regime, but the House holds the key to funding.
#OccupyCongress will use the power of the purse to pass legislation that is beneficial to the American people by attaching it to war funding and ramming it through during reconciliation.
#OccupyCongress itself is literally meant to be a "representative" institution that serves all Americans, left, right, and center and will simply do what the majority of the people want—as long as it is actually Constitutional, obviously.Which legislation? That is to be determined by reliable polling.
Reply with any questions you have, there are lots of specifics I haven't covered but that's the general idea.
@TheWorthyHouse Men need to reach the point where they're done talking about the problem, and ready for the solutions—not just in theory, but the actual concrete steps that need to be taken.
I think that's the next shift we'll see.
Some peaceful solutions: private societies, #OccupyCongress
@bog_beef Closest I can get is to #OccupyCongress, then use the power of the purse and the bully pulpit to shame them back into doing decent work.
Won't be right wing, but could at least get back to neutrality.

@VDAREJamesK Or California.
Anyone paying attention knew this would happen eventually, and it's happening even faster than expected.
Neither of the solutions* I advocate for are dependent on this though—that's a main reason I talk about them so much.
*Private societies and #OccupyCongress
@jeremykauffman @RepThomasMassie When we #OccupyCongress, this is one of those bills that will be red-lined as unconstitutional.
Under capitalism, you can buy meat for your own consumption from whoever the fuck you want.
@bog_beef When we #OccupyCongress, the Bill of Rights will be vigorously enforced.
Furthermore, we will enact whatever rules at the agency level are needed to force platforms to allow all legal activity on their platform.
You will only be able to be banned if a court orders you removed.
@VDAREJamesK I 100% agree that the Right won't be taking power peacefully anytime soon.
But it IS possible to get some of what the Right wants, and some of what the Left wants, and some of what moderates want.
And the way to do that is to #OccupyCongress

Post-election, #OccupyCongress is the best way I know of for "aspiring elites" to take power in Washington.
I wrote a short article about the concept here: https://t.co/1Nzl9IvpfI
People read Curtis Yarvin, nod along as he explains how power today lies with Congress, not the President…
…and then proceed to focus 100% on the Presidency.
Stop! Get real power and #OccupyCongress
