An update from the trenches: we have a robust deployment for smart contracts in place. Deploying to multiple blockchains is HARD. Especially if you need to keep the addresses the same across multiple blockchains (we do, because you get the same wallet address on each chain). Typically you need to deploy smart contracts in perfect order, without failing any transactions, otherwise contracts won't match. Another problem is that you always need to use the same deployment keys, otherwise you get different addresses. This is not secure in the long run (imagine new blockchains we'll have to onboard years from now). So this is something we had to address from the beginning. And we did - with a dedicated BreadDeployer contract, which makes this process almost perfect 👌
