SPRING VALLEY: In an effort to help local businesses affected by the ongoing Route 59 Bridge Replacement Project and address growing traffic congestion, State Senator Bill Weber met on Route 59 with business owners, representatives from the Spring Valley Police Department, Rockland County Director of Intergovernmental Relations Stephen Powers, and New York State Department of Transportation officials. The group discussed ways to improve traffic flow, maintain access to businesses, and lessen the project's impact on the community. Assemblyman Aron Wieder is also working behind the scenes on the issue and has a follow-up meeting scheduled with NYSDOT officials to continue advocating for residents and business owners as construction moves forward.
