This sweet girl arrived in the 🇺🇸 last month and is currently with a foster but would so ❤️ a 🏡 of her own! Audre is 8 months old (as of 10/20), a Golden Mix and weighs a svelte 25-35 lbs! Audre is both a dog and people pup, and is both potty trained and crate trained. A 📝 from Audre’s foster mom: Audre is a happy sweetie who loves people and gets along great with other dogs and puppies. She knows just how to get comfortable up on the couch with her humans, and will love to join you on walks and trots around the neighborhood. Audre is just looking for someone to be her new best furend and we know that she will repay them with endless amounts of love and tail wags. Like all dogs, Audre will need an adopter who is committed to setting her up for success by enrolling in obedience training and exercising her both mentally and physically. She loves the grass, doesn’t mind the leash at all anymore. Loves having fur friends, loves our kitty. Loves to snuggle and loves treats! All around a great dog! Baby is looking for her forever home! Baby M is a one year-old Shepherd mix who was rescued from Afghanistan. She has had a tough life, but it does not get her down. She loves humans and is great with dogs as long as she gets a slow introduction. She is still working on house training, but she is doing an amazing job so far! She is an incredibly smart dog with so much potential. She is crate trained but does not require it. Baby M is doing well with the cat in her foster home. Our adopters, fosters and rescues are our🦸‍♀️ 🦸‍♂️!! 📣PUPDATE: ADOPT ME!🐾 👋Meet Nova, who just turned 2, is about 40lbs and has really blossomed as she has settled into her life here in the US. since she left Afganistan in early June. There are a lot of good things to say about Nova. She is great with other dogs, sweet with people, absolutely loves toys and playing with her friends, but the thing that really stands out about her is that she may have the softest, silkiest coat of any dog. Seriously, laying on the couch, stroking the unbelievably downy coat is going to be incredibly relaxing. When Nova arrived at TBL she was definitely reserved and took a little bit to gain confidence in her surroundings. She is very social now with the volunteers, but she will probably show a little shy to start. She is going to warm up in no time. She would do great in a home with another playful dog that will help teach her the ropes. Nova may have had a rough start on the streets of Afghanistan, but she lives in the moment and will be a wonderful addition to any home. She is food motivated and should be easy to train. She has such a great personality and that coat of hers, she is going to make a family really happy. Clementine is a sweet shepherd mix searching for a furever home! Clementine is a very sweet girl, but she comes with some specific needs. Clementine is from Afghanistan where she lost her eye due to people pelting her with rocks. She also lost half an ear—the cause is unknown. Understandably, all of this has made her shy and scared of new people in the beginning. However, she will slowly warm up once trust is built; she does take a little longer with men than women. Due to her prior life as a street dog, she exhibits resource guarding tendencies and is selective with other dogs. He is 3 years old and has striking looks, you can clearly see his Afghan Hound roots. He is about 47lbs, has a very sweet nature and a playful disposition. Petrol has been enjoying his life here in San Diego. He spent about a month in short-term foster and did amazing. He is housebroken, dog friendly, has been leash trained and just an overall pleasant companion. He gets along well with other dogs, he might be a little reserved at first, but once he gets to know the other pup he is all in for play time. Petrol is great with people. He is very affectionate and outgoing with he TBL volunteers. He is easily trainable and thrives on positive reinforcement and doesn’t mind getting some treats as well. He would do great with a moderately active household, with or without another dog. You see when I arrived to the US I was very scared, I didn't know where I was or the people around me. But my foster home has made me feel so welcome here, and now I am truly one of the friendly dogs you'll ever meet. I prefer slower introductions when meeting dogs, and as long as this is done I do good with meeting other dogs. I love running around the back yard and taking walks. ❤️ I am good in my crate, but my crate is my safe space so I prefer my crate be in a separate spot in the house so the others don't have access to it. I am also potty trained. I love chasing a squeaky ball in the back yard when we're plying fetch. Oh also, I LOVED going to the vet! The people there were so nice and made me feel so comfortable I spent the visit snuggling up against the vet staff! 🙏I am ready to start my life with YOU! Charlotte’s Corner “Kane is a special boy, a senior dog with a laundry list of joint issues, old teeth, old eyes, old ears, and the grumpiness to go with it. He's not dog friendly, not cat friendly, and selective with people. In short, he ain't easy. But when he does give us smiles and when we see him sleeping peacefully and comfortably, it's a joyful reward. Raja and Maya have already gone to their former homes while Nashma’s adoption is pending. They are an amazing organization that works with working dogs.
