தவறான சொத்து முத்திரையைப் பயன்படுத்துதல்,
சொத்து அது இல்லாத ஒருவருக்குச் சொந்தமானது, என்று தோன்றும் வகையில் ஒரு முத்திரையைப் பயன்படுத்துவது, தவறான சொத்து முத்திரையைப் பயன்படுத்துவதாகக் கருதப்படுகிறது. (பிரிவு 345(2)).
தண்டனை
தவறான சொத்து முத்திரையைப் பயன்படுத்துவது, பின்வருவனவற்றிற்கு வழிவகுக்கும்:
- சிறைத்தண்டனை: 1 வருடம் வரை
- அபராதம்: விதிக்கப்படலாம்
- இரண்டும்: சிறைத்தண்டனை மற்றும் அபராதம்
மோசடி செய்யும் நோக்கமின்றி செயல்பட்டதாக நபர் நிரூபிக்காவிட்டால் (பிரிவு 345(3)).
முக்கியமானது
- அசையும் சொத்தின் உரிமையை சொத்து முத்திரைகள் அடையாளம் காட்டுகின்றன.
- மற்றவர்களை ஏமாற்ற பொய் முத்திரைகளைப் பயன்படுத்துவது தண்டனைக்குரியது.
- மோசடி செய்யும் நோக்கம் குற்றத்தை தீர்மானிப்பதில் ஒரு முக்கிய காரணியாகும்.

Property Mark and False Property Mark
Definition of Property Mark
A mark used to denote that movable property belongs to a particular person is called a property mark (Section 345(1) of the Indian Penal Code).
Using a False Property Mark
Using a mark to make it appear that property belongs to someone it doesn't is considered using a false property mark (Section 345(2)).
Punishment
Using a false property mark can lead to:
- Imprisonment: Up to 1 year
- Fine: May be imposed
- Both: Imprisonment and fine
Unless the person proves they acted without intent to defraud (Section 345(3)).

- Property marks identify ownership of movable property.
- Using false marks to deceive others is punishable.
- Intent to defraud is a key factor in determining guilt.
(With amendments. The Orders, Judgments, etc. of the Honoruable Court are final.)
