P.S. #PTSDChat L F: I was pretty good at my job, but seeing the darkness showed me that I needed to find the light. I gave them a 6-month notice. And I didn’t let it bother me when they tried to mistreat me.

#PTSDChat H L: "take it like a man!" That's what Dad told me. He was beating the skin off my ass because I got beat up by 3 boys! He said a man would've "rather died than taken the beating." 9 years old, and I spent a month recovering on the hospital. I hate my dad. My story.
#PTSDChat there's so much that isn't said in the chat, or even in therapy sessions to this point. All of it counts, all of it is a part of who I am. I don't know if I'll ever be able to get all of it out there where it can be heard but someone else's ears. I know it hurts.
That's who we are, it's what we're doing. Our lifestyle takes a lot of effort to do things most don't think about doing. Trauma doesn't just go away our nest meetups have helped each of us face ourselves, not only complain about our pains. We add to #PTSDChat trying to help.
#CuckoosNest are veterans who love life with the effects caused by #PTSD , we do the living by choice, knowing there's an alternative we've each lived beyond more than the thinking stage. We live with scars send and unseen, but, we're living! Just saying, #StillMakingRipples
