The principled position of the Republic of Balochistan is that the division of the subcontinent has subjected this entire region to continuous conflicts, unrest, terrorism, economic instability and political crises. Since the imposition of an artificial and terrorist state like Pakistan on this region, various nations here have been deprived of peace, prosperity, development and stability. Pakistan’s terrorist policies have not been limited to this region alone, but their effects have reached the global level. Western countries were affected by the threat of terrorism originated from Pakistan, while the Middle East also suffered from continued instability. It began with the attack on Kashmir immediately after the artificial establishment of Pakistan, which was followed by a military invasion of Balochistan on March 27, 1948, and the then Khan of Kalat, Mir Ahmad Yar Khan, was forced to sign a forcible accession, while he was later imprisoned for fourteen years. In the same sequence, the tragedy of the massacre of millions of Bengalis in East Pakistan in 1971 occurred. Later, in operations against the Palestinians in Jordan, the then Pakistani military General Zia-ul-Haq had the Palestinians killed for money. During the so-called jihad against the Soviet Union in Afghanistan in the 1980s, Pakistan partnered with the United States to complete its nuclear weapons, while in 1998, six nuclear explosions were carried out in the Chagai district of Balochistan without the consent of the Baloch nation, the effects of which are still facing various difficulties today. After this, in the post-9/11 era, Pakistan also received forty billion dollars in aid from the United States in the name of terrorism, but behind the scenes, it also funded a fake jihad against the United States and NATO, which kept the entire region in the grip of continuous war, instability and bloodshed. The Republic of Balochistan is of the opinion that as long as Pakistan remains in its current form in this region, it will not be possible to achieve sustainable peace, development and prosperity. Therefore, the Republic of Balochistan urges the international community to recognize the independence of Balochistan and cleanse this region of the scourge like Pakistan. The Republic of Balochistan and its 60 million Baloch people consider themselves an independent, and sovereign state. According to our position, the independence of Balochistan was declared on 11 August 1947, during the withdrawal of British rule from the subcontinent. The news of this declaration was published in international media at that time, including the New York Times, and was also broadcast on All India Radio.
