Path to Profitability 🙏 Deep Dive - Day 6 To be honest, I put myself in a tricky situation right at the start of the LIVE. I couldn’t really decide on the direction. There were signs pointing both ways, even though my first instinct (Spidey-sense) was the right call again. But the truth is, the result would have been the same—I just could have saved myself -0.5R by avoiding jumping in and out of positions! This is an area where I really want and need to improve because I believe this is one of my biggest weaknesses: the "jumping in and out" habit. This is exactly why I’m trying to apply my new rule: once I’ve opened a position, I leave it as it is and let the market decide if I called the direction right or if I’m wrong. This is why I stayed calm today and let my trade run all the way, even though it hit the SL. I remembered that my statistics have always proven me right whenever I didn't touch the trade! So, this is what I will apply going forward. Also, once I’m in a trade, I won’t stare at the chart constantly. I won't drain my brain over every 5-minute candle because it’s pointless—especially if I’m not moving my SL or TP anyway! No over-analyzing, no seeing things on the chart that aren't there. At the end of the LIVE, I set up a trade that I'll show you too. Right now, this descending channel is my main setup. I thought we’d have one more leg down to the bottom, but the market might turn earlier. Either way, I’ve set a Limit Order at 67,540. If the price leaves without me, so be it! I’ve realized I don’t need to desperately chase positive statistics. This is a journal that shows my journey. And on this path, there will be many unsuccessful months, weeks, and positions. But the goal is what matters! This is not a sprint; it’s a marathon. We must keep this in mind. Thank you for joining me today.
