He was smitten with her,
head over heels in love,
He couldn't go a week,
without sneaking a glance of her.
She pined for him in private,
Her heart yearned for his touch,
Every time he spoke to her,
She could only hear divine music.
He was wary of his friends,
They were the rowdy variety,
He wanted to avoid their ire,
and so, he avoided her presence totally.
She was a strong and independent woman,
with everyone looking upto her,
She was worried of showing her love,
lest everyone consider her a dependent parasite.
Frequent quarrels and arguments,
They were like Tom and Jerry,
but their hearts brimmed with love,
and it was about to overflow.
One day, it started doing just that,
and they couldn't hold it back after that,
The dam had finally burst,
and it swept them both off their feet.
She landed herself into a problem,
and amplified it trying to correct it,
It was taking her downhill fast,
and she couldn't arrest her slide.
He stepped in at the right time,
and gave her a supporting shoulder.
He held the reins of the chariot,
and helped steady the wild horse.
She didn't feel dependent,
rather she felt empowered by him,
Their gazes locked with each other,
for what felt like an eternity.
The ice broke and then they started to speak,
It went for days together,
Everything they had kept hidden inside their heart,
came pouring out at last.
The depth of their love stunned them,
and they felt its insurmountable power,
They feared it would embarrass them,
but it ended up empowering them.
They didn't have to hide it anymore,
they walked in the open hand clasped together,
There is no shame in love,
The only shame is for those who deny love.

¡A escribir, Poevivientes!
Sipnosis:

Y si amas tiemblas...y si tiemblas estás vivo

The Universe Learns to Make Room...
I once believed the universe spoke
through falling stars,
impossible coincidences,
secrets hidden in the night.
Then you arrived on an ordinary afternoon,
rain gathering along the windowpanes,
your coffee cooling between your hands.
You smiled at something I had said.
Nothing in the sky changed.
Yet something within me
found its direction.
At first, I was afraid
of how much the smallest things mattered...
the way you grew quiet when rain began,
the childhood stories that made you laugh,
the sorrow you sometimes carried
behind an ordinary smile.
I wanted to know them all,
not to claim some hidden part of you,
but to become a place
where even your silences
could lay down their weight.
The signs came without ceremony..
a message when I missed you,
your name appearing unexpectedly,
our conversations lingering
long after we had said goodnight.
Once, you reached across the table
and straightened my folded sleeve.
You had forgotten it by evening.
I remembered it for days.
And that frightened me.
I had spent so long
keeping my heart beyond the reach of loss
that even tenderness
felt like standing at the edge of something.
The stars had not moved....I had.
one uncertain step beyond fear,
toward a love that promised nothing.
Distance remained.
So did the possibility
that you might never feel the same.
Still, I wrote the message
I would once have erased.
I let you know I missed you.
For the first time,
I allowed my longing
to exist without apology.
I began to understand
that love was not the certainty
of being chosen,
but the courage to remain open
when no answer was assured.
Could I love without demanding?
Offer tenderness without a bargain?
Hold my hands open
even if yours never reached for them?
The questions hurt.
But somewhere inside their honesty,
something softened..
like earth receiving the first monsoon
after a season of thirst.
Then came an evening
when the city seemed unusually gentle.
Traffic murmured beyond the windows,
rain traced the glass,
and you sat close enough
for our shoulders to touch.
You told me about a fear
you had never spoken aloud.
I listened, resisting the urge
to fill your silence with reassurance.
When your voice faltered,
I stayed.
Neither of us spoke of forever.
Then your hand moved toward mine,
hesitated,
and rested there.
I thought of every message
I had almost erased,
every feeling I had hidden
to spare myself the possibility of loss.
All that quiet courage
had brought me here..
not to a promised ending,
but to a moment
neither of us had been certain enough
to imagine.
And there,
with your fingers resting in mine,
I understood what I had been seeking.
The universe had never promised me your heart.
It had given me my own..
and the courage to offer it.
I loosened my fingers,
leaving you free to let go.
For a moment,
your hand rested lightly in mine.
Then you turned your palm upward,
threaded your fingers through mine,
and held on...

@ISAMARY58488352 #PoeVive

@AlmarDeLuna #PoeVive

|| The Conspiracy of Almost ||
Perhaps the universe
had been hiding you
in the margins of my days—
in roads I took for no reason,
in songs that lingered
long after the silence returned,
in all the quiet dialects
my heart had yet to learn.
Perhaps it knew
that before I could hold you,
I would first have to become
someone capable of carrying
such a sudden weight of wonder.
And then—
without a prophecy,
without a single star
breaking its orbit—
you simply stepped into my world.
I didn't know
the unseen had been conspiring.
I only knew
that your words stayed with me
like an unfinished breath,
that my silences
began making room for yours,
until curiosity burned into tenderness,
and tenderness
unraveled into longing.
Now I find myself standing
at the edge of everything
I have yet to discover—
the thoughts you leave unspoken,
the dreams that pull you from sleep,
the quiet architecture of who you are
when the rest of the world goes dark.
How strange—
to crave no resolution to a mystery,
simply because the mystery is you.
If the universe
had woven a thousand invisible threads
through the course of my days,
perhaps I was never meant
to see the pattern beforehand.
Perhaps it was only meant
to make breathless sense
when I looked back
from right here—
from this quiet, breathing space
where your existence
has made the whole world
feel impossibly intimate.
I don't know
what the stars intended
when they drew our orbits close.
But if they conspired
to let me find you,
I hope they know
I will spend no less wonder
staying with you
than I did
finding you.

Arena fría que se bebe el cielo
estrellas como pecas en la noche
Dame plata...el Desierto busca la piel
Mi sangre se vuelve de Oro
En cualquier lugar...hasta el delirio
hasta tocarte a ti
Pasión...sin aire..no me beses...trágame

No quiero que te confundas, amor.
No soy yo quien te eligió.
No fui yo, corazón.
Fue mi alma quien hizo esa elección.
La mente dudó,
el corazón sufrió,
pero el alma no se cansaba.
El alma siempre decidió.
Y el cielo se me abrió.
Todo se despejó:
las tormentas pasajeras,
los pellizcos en el pecho.
Y ahora todo es paz.
No necesito tenerte para amarte, vida,
porque simplemente te quiero.

|| The Art of Becoming ||
There are rooms that exist outside the calendar,
stitched from the heavy velvet of un-prayers,
where the air smells of dust
and unanswered letters.
A table.
Two chairs.
And a woman sitting opposite
the ghost of who she used to be—
not a phantom of ash,
but the shadow of a life
she had yet to learn to love.
“Does life ever give us what we deserve?”
she asks the dark,
her palms bruised from holding
onto empty handles,
her heart a museum of closed doors.
Across the wood, her own face smiles—
worn by a wisdom too heavy for bone,
softened by the terrifying edge
of having almost lost the world.
“Tell me,” the stranger says,
“when did you begin to measure your life
by the weight of what it withheld?”
Silence answers.
One disappointment laid upon another
until absence became architecture,
until joy seemed a visitor
who had lost her address.
And yet—
There is a terrifying reverence in survival.
To have stood at the mouth of eternity
and begged for neither gold
nor the life that might have been,
but for one more ordinary breath.
One more sunrise
asking nothing in return.
Just to know
you were still here.
“What am I to do
with all the things I never received?”
she asks,
defiant even in her sorrow.
The hands reach across the divide—
not to erase the wound,
but to hold it gently.
“Keep your wishes,”
the mirror whispers.
“You don't have to pretend
the wound was light.”
The shadows thin.
The Universe does not shatter its locks,
it simply changes the light in the hallway.
She looks at her hands—
unfilled, yes,
but no longer empty.
They carry the quiet proof
of every day she survived.
They are warm.
They are beating.
And for once,
she does not ask the stars to bend.
When darkness folds back into the earth
and morning wakes without fanfare,
she will not search the day
for what it owes her.
She will open both hands
to the unmapped light
and whisper—
𝘐 𝘢𝘮 𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘦.
𝘈𝘯𝘥 𝘐 𝘢𝘮 𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘥𝘺.
