#PSX Good news: Despite geopolitical shocks, our market continues to absorb the pressure remarkably well. Nothing has changed in the underlying fundamentals.
$Brent crude is currently trading around $100.48/bbl, while $WTI stands at $91.70/bbl, keeping near-term inflation concerns elevated following the latest increase in domestic petroleum prices.
Nevertheless, stronger macroeconomic fundamentals, the recent S&P Global sovereign rating upgrade and improving investor confidence continue to support the broader market outlook despite ongoing external uncertainties
Flow Highlights (23-Jul-2026)
#FIPI: Turned net buyers with +US$2.41mn, marking a positive session after recent outflows. However, CYTD flows remain negative at -US$559.75mn.
#LIPI: Continued to provide strong support, with net #buying of around +US$1.18mn on the day. CYTD net inflows stand at approximately +US$560.6mn, highlighting sustained domestic participation.
Foreign investors returned as modest buyers, while strong local institutional and individual participation continues to absorb #selling pressure and provide support to the market.
Technical Outlook: A sustained break below the 168,000 support level may expose the KSE-100 to a corrective move toward the 166,000–161,000 demand zone. Until then, the broader medium-term outlook remain intact.
