Dutch Bros employees surprised a shelter volunteer with enough pup cups for every dog in the shelter. 13/10 for all
@LolaPatolla 🙏💙 I'm so sorry Lola, that is not ok. There are so many dogs/pups in need it won't be long before the perfect pup/dog makes it's way to you. Be kind always. Kindness is the most valuable commodity you can share each day.

Jessica Rudeen shared her living nightmare of a situation on a flight when her two children, a 4-month-old son and a toddler daughter, started crying and screaming. “I honestly thought we’d get kicked off the plane,” Rudeen said.
small act of kindness that impacted you in a significant way?
The moment her daughter started kicking and screaming how she wanted to get off the plane, a stranger approached them in a totally random act of kindness and offered a helping hand.
Todd, a Kansas resident, not only was helpful in dealing with the kids’ crying but also kept Jessica’s daughter, Caroline, busy and entertained throughout the flight. “By the end of the flight, he was Caroline’s best friend,” Rudeen explained and shared her pleasant disbelief of such good people existing.
Todd even shared a connecting flight with the family, and walked along with them to their next flight, telling Jessica that she reminded him of his wife, who once also experienced a similar act of kindness from a stranger on an airplane flight.

It's Fantastic Friday! What positive thing will you do for someone else to make today Fantastic? #YourChoice #RandomActsOfKindness
Today I was picking up lunch for a doctor’s office. While I was waiting for my order and checking emails, I heard a man ask a woman, “I want to buy something to eat, but all I have is $5.” Curious, I looked up from my phone and noticed the man had a backpack and looked like he might be homeless or going through a hard time. As he looked at the menu, he quickly realized $5 might not be enough.
The woman started giving him suggestions to help him stay within his budget. The man decided what toorder, and when she asked what he wanted to drink, she told him, “Don’t worry about it, your breakfast is on me.”
I loved this moment for a few reasons. She could have easily asked a manager to handle it or avoided helping, but she didn’t. She simply said, “It’s on me.” She could have just given him water, taken his money, and moved on to the next customer, but she didn’t. She acted with kindness.I’ve worked in customer service for a long time and have been through excellent training programs like Dale Carnegie. Yet, in just a three-minute conversation, a woman named Karina at Chick-fil-A in Jackson, MS, taught me the true meaning of humility and caring for your customers. It’s not just the food that makes this place great. It’s people like Karina.
Thank you.

Amsterdam is moving ahead with a gentle but meaningful safety plan along its famous canals. City leaders have approved funding to install small #escapesteps that help #animals climb out if they fall into the #water. Officials say the idea gained attention after animal groups raised concerns about repeated #catdrownings reported across several canal areas during the past year.
According to local reports, at least nineteen cats were confirmed drowned in #Amsterdamwaterways in 2025. #Animalwelfaregroups pushed for a solution that would not disturb the historic look of the canals. City planners listened and designed slim metal steps placed at key danger spots where animals struggle most to escape. These steps will be low profile and blend into the canal walls.
The city has set aside up to one hundred thousand euros for the project and plans to install the steps gradually. Officials say the goal is prevention rather than reaction. By working with local animal groups, Amsterdam hopes fewer pets and wildlife will be lost to the canals. Could this simple idea inspire other canal cities to follow?
