The Mother of the King Mountain Pack in CO was shot by a ranch worker. The father was killed during a capture event.
Wolves have been a part of North America for 500,000 years. They have kept ecosystems balanced. Used selective predation to rid herds of disease.
They are the ancestors of our best friends, dogs.
We have no right to invade their land, to kill for sport.

On 8/7/25, trophy hunting organizations filed appealed the ESA listing to 9th Circuit Court of Appeals. On 4/3/26, the same orgs, Sportsmen’s Alliance, Safari Club International, & Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation, filed their opening brief “to defend the delisting of gray wolves & advocate for state-led wildlife management” to the Ninth Circuit.➡️https://t.co/h0YqWhyvEX

According to USDA’s most recent report: less than 1% of cattle losses in the US are caused by all predators combined, & wolves make up only a tiny fraction of that number. In Oregon, confirmed wolf depredations is 0.03% of the state’s 1.3 million cattle in 2023. Washington’s losses equated to 40 confirmed wolf kills in a herd of 1,000,000 statewide. By contrast, over 95 % of cattle deaths each year are caused by weather, disease, birthing complications.
All wolves deserve full protection by ESA listing.

Earlier this year a Wyoming man, CODY ROBERTS, horrifically abused and killed a young female Wolf, an act that sparked national outrage and underscored the urgent need for stronger protections for Wolves and all wild animals.
A grand jury has indicted Roberts on felony animal cruelty charges who faces up to two years in prison and fines of up to $5,000.
Today Roberts appeared in court where he pleaded not guilty. The trial is set for March 9, 2026, in Sublette County District Court in Pinedale.
Let’s hope he gets a long time in prison 😡😡!

Wolves across the country have faced serious challenges with the Endangered Species List. The Trump admin's 2020 delisting emboldened states to bolster anti-wolf efforts, risking 90% of the region’s wolves.

Montana FWP Dashboard reported the total wolf mortality as 42 as of 11/2/25. However, a Radio collard female who was shot in the Region3 on 10/30/25 at 15:00 was excluded. This will make 10 wolves were killed in Region3 so far, not 9 as has been reported which makes the total 43 wolves have been killed. RELIST WOLVES, ALL WOLVES

This symbiotic relationship highlights the delicate role wolves serve as ecosystem guardians. Like wolves and ravens, we must work together to #RelistWolves.
And when it comes to wolf hunts?
“Quoth the Raven, ‘Nevermore.’”
Idaho kills more wolves than the other two Northern Rockies state, Idaho wants to reduce their wolves from 1,270 to 500 wolves. According to Howl, human would need to kill 37% of estimated wolf population for 6 years. This year would be 470 wolves. They call this managing? I call it massacre.

According to Montana's Wolf Population Forecast report, if MT continues to harvest 282/higher would result in continuing decline, increasingly. If quota of 334 were to continue for more than 2-3 years, wolves will be unable to support 15 breeding pairs within 5 years, if
harvest number is higher it will be sooner than 5 years.
USFWS; you must list N.Rockies wolves on ESA now.
