🤔Hmmm. Let's break that down:
--The Rock's turn as #BlackAdam was actually not successful. He had no respect for the lore (or Levi), and there's been no talk of a sequel. Black Adam is not, and was not, a hero. Or an anti-hero.

--Chris Evans was successful as #CaptainAmerica because the writers and Chris himself understood the core nature of Steve Rogers. And what the Captain represents.
--Levi, and no one involved with those abominable movies, know anything about #CaptainMarvel.
The character 'Shazam' is a New 52 mangling of the original character, AND, Levi's interpretation of the character was 'Big but with Superpowers.'
...Which Captain Marvel has never been.🙄
--In terms of his bitterness, he might've had a shot at the fame he craved if someone had actually written a Captain Marvel movie. Cap was the first superhero to get a live action movie serial. Cap back in the day outsold Superman. In the comics now they are rebranding hard to get away from what they turned Cap into.
Which means that the original character worked just fined. It never needed to be 'New 52'd.'🙄
This is unfortunately a prime example of the magical thinking that says "We'll just put a superhero film out, it'll be fine, people will love it!"
