NYCACC killed these three beautiful healthy adoptable pups yesterday…you can see two who loved their Stuffies, two who will never see them again…and the beautiful girl with the hot pink bandana will not see the break of a new day…. Cam Cam (aka Bam Bam), Nino Bell and Maya ended up in this house of horrors because their humans cared so little for them, for their happiness, for their short existence on this earth. Dogs really expect so little from humans: love, kindness, food, vet care and playtime/walks. This is a really low fucking bar peeps…it’s a disgrace that we offer such false security to these sentient beings…they love us unconditionally, they greet us like we’ve been gone forever, they forgive us…no matter what we do…they love us even if we’re unpopular, ugly, grumpy…what being loves us that much….And even when these dumpers are delivering them to municipal kill pound, they’re still happy and wagging not realizing their fate…and once they realize where they are, they shut down, they grieve, they’re emotionally destroyed….And it is these pups we advocate for…they don’t have enough time to process this betrayal, they refuse to do things the pound staff want them to do so they’re kill listed….And of course, the kill pound complies and steals the shine ✨ of these beautiful pups…. I say farewell to Cam Cam, Nino Bell and Maya….I hope you’re at peace as your spirits courses through the heavens…. Run free sweet pups…you deserved so much more from my species….
