4/4 … items discarded during the foot chase. This morning we did outreach with @PathDevon, supporting our vulnerable street homeless community. And finally the rescue of an injured young seagull, getting it to a vet for the help it needed. #bestjob

A busy shift in the city centre with a quick trip off patch to deal with some neighbourhood issues. All jobs have centred around unacceptable youth behaviour and included our patrol car being egged. Offender caught and dealt with. @CharlesCrossLPP @DC_Police #restdaysnow 👏🏻🙌👌🏻
Early Outreach with @PathDevon. Lots of tents and numerous referrals to @shekinahcharity. Then training related to women’s online safety. Finished with a multi agency meeting to safeguard a vulnerable resident. #VAWG #partnershipworking #restdaysnow @CharlesCrossLPP @DC_Police
The long week is done with a lot of really good work completed inc safeguarding, house to house, partnership working, addressing some serious ASB, some very tense, dynamic jobs and a lot of stuff we can’t talk about. #restdaysnow @PathDevon @plymouthcc @CharlesCrossLPP @DC_Police
2/2 …assisted on a scene guard, engaged with some cute kids and dogs (stickers involved - for the kids not the dogs 😆), updated my workload and walked 13,177 steps!
I reckon that’s ok👌🏻

Back Saturday morning ☀️🏴☠️
Last job of yesterdays shift before the inevitable paperwork was assisting @swasFT and @PARCPLYMOUTH with a vulnerable male in drink who had become aggressive. Eventually a PC had to accompany them to @Derriford_Hosp. #teamwork @CharlesCrossLPP @DC_Police #restdaysnow
Anyone else … or is it just me who doesn’t check pockets before loading the washing machine? 🤦♀️ #restdaysnow Heading to the highlands for some R&R ✈️🌲🏴
Our student officer has completed his 2nd week with our team and dealt with come challenging situations. He’s been great - and he’s coming back on Saturday for more! #welcometoneighbourhood @CharlesCrossLPP @DC_Police @CollegeofPolice #teamwork #learning #ourfuture #restdaysnow

Finished this set of three day shifts off with a pub quiz in a fabulous pub on patch. We won of course! 🏅🧠🏆 Proceeds of quiz to local charities. Still light as I headed home. @CharlesCrossLPP @DC_Police @TheBarbican #restdaysnow

And just like that the four late shifts were done 💪🏻 I’m now on two well earned rest days. I work with the best people. I’m off to the seaside tomorrow but I’ll see you at 08:00 Wednesday #restdaysnow @CharlesCrossLPP @DC_Police
Over 5 miles of ☀️ foot patrol under our belt this morning with 1 person educated on electric scooter ownership, 3 ASB1s issued, 3 safeguarding checks done, and at least 10 cute dogs patted. Be good! We are back for 4 lates from Thursday. #restdaysnow @DC_Police @DC_Police

On my way home I was behind a vehicle whose driver who took a roundabout the wrong way round and then didn’t give way at two junctions - all actions narrowly avoiding collisions. I had to call it in. Driver dealt with by @TavistockPolice #keepingyousafe @DC_Police #restdaysnow
That set of shifts felt like it went on forever - or blurred into one loooong one! We had the good, the bad and the ugly! Thank goodness we had our special constables alongside us. #notcalledspecialfornothing @CharlesCrossLPP @DC_Police #pcsoplymouth #restdaysnow #familyanddogs
