The Slum and Rural Health Initiative Sierra Leone SRHIN SL has officially launched the Brave Heart Project which is aimed to tackle rising substance use and mental health issues among young people in Sierra Leone The launch took place at City Hall in Freetown and brought together government officials school leaders health experts NGO partners and community stakeholders In partnership with the Sierra Leone team, we would contribute to the implementation of the project in Sierra Leone. The project targets young people aged 10 to 24 using a task shifting model to raise mental health awareness and prevent substance use.
