#Prabhas joins hands with #SitaRamam director #HanuRaghavapudi for #Fauzi . The excitement has been building ever since the announcement, especially with Hanu’s distinct writing style and storytelling.
Now, the biggest discussion is about the release date.
Fauzi was initially officially announced for December 3, 2026. However, with #Vrushakarma announcing its release on December 4, speculation about a postponement has intensified. The makers are yet to officially confirm the change, but a 2027 release now appears likely.
So, what’s the best release window for Fauzi? 👇
❌ SANKRANTI 2027 - AVOID
Sankranti 2027 is already extremely crowded, with around 6–8 films targeting the festive window.
#Vishwambhara is also reportedly targeting January 8, while #January12Vidudala is eyeing January 12, with #SYG and several other notable films in the race.
With such heavy competition, Sankranti could make it difficult for #Fauji to get the screens and long theatrical run it deserves.

The holiday itself is attractive, particularly for the Hindi/Bollywood market, but releasing just 10–14 days after Sankranti would create a major disadvantage in the South.

✅ FEBRUARY — A STRONG OPTION
February is often considered a dull season, but for a pan-India film like Fauzi, it could actually be a very interesting release window.
It offers a relatively open theatrical market across Tollywood, Bollywood and international territories, while avoiding the overcrowded Sankranti period.
Films such as #Mirchi, #Uppena and #Chhaava have shown that February releases can perform strongly when the content connects with audiences.
The biggest advantage is the possibility of a 4–6 week theatrical run without immediate pressure from major releases.
The only drawback? It’s a non-holiday period, so the run depends heavily on the film’s content, hype and audience reception.
⚡ MARCH 4/5 — ANOTHER STRONG CHOICE
A March 4/5 release could also work well, especially with the #MahaShivaratri holiday providing a strong opening boost.
