I called Chef Khudu out of nowhere.
No brief. No retainer. No contract. Just a voice note, a proposal, and a belief that the brand he started in 2022 had grown past the identity it was given.
What if there was "The Nike Bowl"?
A creative idea inspired by the scale and energy of the Super Bowl.
Animated in @splinetool.
Spec work. Unofficial.
Not affiliated with Nike or the NFL.

For example, this same organization previously advertised and quickly aborted a 'contest' offering winner chance to be used in a product...
Exercise caution around stuff like this.

Client: Converse AllStar
Campaign Title: “Offer Timeless”
#SpecWork
-The aim of this campaign is to position Converse AllStar as an easy gift, relying on its classic appeal and look that’s so familiar to us all. In doubt, gift them a Converse AllStar, it will alway look good.
I love it when a brand is so cool I can't help but be inspired to do spec work. Today it's @WhoGivesACrapTP #specwork #copywriting 🤍
It still hasn't dawned on July that just because someone can do a pin-up, the winner of his 'fan art contest' might not be capable of doing sequential art seeing as how it's a completely different skill set.

I've said to myself so many times, I'll never ever submit to another design challenge. And then.....

@PUBGMOBILE Less #SpecWork competitions and more supporting of PDP artists via commissions instead 😶 #pubgmpdp #pubgmobile
#Specwork is problematic because it requires #creativeprofessionals to do free work for a job as the dangling carrot w/no guarantees. Entering #2022, read why the #writingcommunity & pros in #creative should revamp their #portfolios instead. #NYE2021

We thought this ice cold can of sparkling wine would work really well against the neon backdrops we’ve been playing with so here it is. A fun spec commercial we made using the Tilt Bubbly Rosé can. #specad #specwork #filmmakers #videodirectors
