Despite the TPUSA constant flip flopping and gaslighting… https://t.co/vJDtFiR3QW #energy #srpelection

It’s rumored that SRP management in cahoots with Turning Point is going to try and do something shady AF to overturn the apple cart of the big election upset on Monday at their board meeting. Be there at 9:30am cause sunshine is the best disinfectant. #srpelection #energy @brahmresnik @JoeDanaReports @AdamKleppAZ @anneryman @lauragersony @WayneSchutsky @reaganspriest @JerodMacEvoy @jeremyduda @Jason_Plautz @beecycles
And we made the LA Times too! Our historic win in the SRP election is national news! The results will be official on Monday at the SRP board meeting at 9am. https://t.co/td6qM963Jg #energy #srpelection
I’ve got people on Twitter accusing me of working at TurnIng Point and others concerned Turning Point is being too mean to me. The internet is fun! What a day! 😎 #energy #srpelection
Side note, there are some peeps all over social media about the SRP election and my first reaction was “who dis?” Some of these folks being interviewed by national media DO NOT WORK in AZ. Details. 🤷♀️ #energy #srpelection
“Last night, clean energy candidates secured a major victory in the Salt River Project (SRP) board election, despite heavy involvement from extremist, anti-clean energy organizations and restrictive, archaic voting rules.” https://t.co/kr39hCBl0e #energy #srpelection
“But the surge in voters actually resulted in clean energy advocates flipping two board seats and gaining an 8-6 majority.” #energy #srpelection The utility race turbocharged by Turning Point https://t.co/PtoCUFss5Q via @politico
“There is evidence that Turning Point’s participation in the SRP elections may have actually cost their candidates seats this time around.” #energy #srpelection
Turning Point Action spent months pouring money and resources into a little-known utility election in Arizona, an effort that contributed to an increase in voter turnout but ultimately failed to fend off a challenge from a slate of clean-energy candidates

“People waiting two and a half hours in line to vote for a utility governance board should make people pretty concerned about the amount of fervor that’s going to be around the November election.” #energy #srpelection
“Turning Point made this election about them": @TPUSA fell short of preventing a clean energy majority on the Salt River Project power board, signaling a rebuke of the conservative group and an increase in voter interest in energy issues @AzCapitolTimes https://t.co/ILsaf7P9Qs
I feel like having Turning Point USA “help” your campaign is like having Bobby Hurley coach your team, which is to say, please keep doing it! 🤣 #energy #srpelection
One can only hope TPUSA is as successful "helping" Andy Biggs as they were in the SRP election. Bravo! 🤣 #energy #srpelection
I am pretty thrilled that @JigarShahDC did an entire thread about the importance of the SRP election on Bluesky: https://t.co/DtW6C8HaMj #energy #srpelection

“Arizona is a top solar state for a reason. This election result makes clear that SRP customers expect their utility to reflect that reality and move forward, not backward.” https://t.co/j7X5MtthNT #energy #solar #srpelection @AriSEIA
AriSEIA's thrilled that clean energy candidates are now an 8-6 majority on the SRP board for the first time in history. You can read our press release here: https://t.co/cPE3c0Yp1n #energytwitter #srp #srpelection #arizona #solar

2 things this #SRPelection has shown us need reform, despite the good outcome today:
1) the anti-democratic voting system where only landowners can vote, weighted based on their acreage, MUST change. It's 2026, and the customers should ALL have a voice. @LaurenKuby has ideas.
Bears repeating. The SRP elections use acreage-based voting, which has historically put the clean energy crowd at a disadvantage.
This year the climate slate won the popular vote roughly 2-to-1, and lost the acreage-based vote by a 42-58 split, per UNOFFICIAL results.
