According to reporting by The New York Times, President #Trump has decided NOT to help Saudi Arabia in their fight against Ansarallah in Yemen.
According to the reporting, Trump had flip flopped between strikes and no strikes over recent days. At one point, he had told the Pentagon to prepare for strikes… before reversing course once again.
This is an astonishing embarrassment for President Trump. He is essentially telling the world that he is INCAPABLE of defending critical allies when called upon due to the failures of the U.S./Iran War.
Even worse, Ansarallah has proven REMARKABLY effective at hitting Saudi energy infrastructure… Damage that directly impacts Trump’s chances of success in the Iran War. This has been seen repeatedly with Ansarallah strikes on Yanbu, Abha, Jizan, and more.
But for MBS, this is tantamount to betrayal. Just a two days ago, the CAPITAL of Saudi Arabia, Riyadh, was struck at the King Khalid Airport by Ansarallah strikes. This is a MONUMENTAL embarrassment for MBS, and legitimately calls into question his control over The Kingdom.
Pair with this the fact that Ansarallah has seized TOTAL control over the Bab al-Mandeb Strait, and Iraqi militias (reportedly) caused immense damage to the East-West Pipeline at three pumping stations, and it is is clear that MBS is so woefully out of his depth at this point that he is completely drowning.
When Saudi Arabia is out at sea, flailing and drowning and asking for a hand…
President Trump is nowhere to be seen.
