a) hire regular help
b) teach younger people
c) not be a 24x7x365 slave to this place.
Not there yet. But soon.
I just noticed - a new 5 star farms showed up today, and my app tagged them as offering Farm Experiences.

I guess its hard to blame marketers in a world of 5 second Tik Tok attention spans to properly explain the nuances of processing.
Its getting harder to justify wasting time here with each passing day.
Grok is very matter of fact about engagement throttling for the #SmallAg #Homesteading #RealFood community.
Fun facts.
Less than 5% of of US industrial chicken packing still use chlorine based rinsing in 2026.
95% of US industrial chicken packing still use immersion based/water cooling, NOT air chilled.

It serves a critical purpose and should continue to do so even in #SmallAg #Regen new world.
The new Hertzog Meat Co. retail store and processing facility in Butler, Missouri is about bringing farm-raised beef directly to the people.

Cody Simpson is a dog-certified, farm-fed patriot who will take SC agriculture to new heights. #TrumpsFarmer #LastTuesday #SmallAg
@sovernTranch I think its shifting too but in different ways.
I fear affordability is devolving #SmallAg to the point where the well off eat can eat local + healthy, the not so well off can only afford factory food.
Weird.

Here's an interesting option I'd never considered for #SmallAg folks who want to pursue some level of #Agritourism on their property - especially if there are other tourist destinations nearby.
Set up a small corner of your property for RV camping for visitors. 🤔 😎
If I haven't mentioned this OUTSTANDING resource before now - shame on me !
