We are having the wrong debate. GPs are offering more appointments than they did pre-pandemic. And choice of how you access your GP is a positive thing.
GPs (always) seem to be getting a lot of flak. But what do patients really think? I love the fact I can do my annual asthma check online, but can still get an urgent face-to-face appointment when I need one. Seems a much better system.
People questioning the appropriateness of optimism - it is essential.

The league table of GP surgeries who see patients more or less in person is designed to create anger towards the NHS. The ultimate reason for this is to make the case to dismantle the NHS and launch private healthcare.
