Terechte zorgen @D66 over de arbitragezaken aangespannen door @NAMbv, @Shell en @exxonmobil en de rechtsongelijkheid die dit creëert ten opzichte van gedupeerde Groningse bewoners.

Wat zijn ze zielig, hè? Hadden gedupeerde Groningers maar zo'n krachtig juridisch wapen in handen om de "negative impact" van de gaswinning op hun huis en haard te verhalen. Dit is wat rechtsongelijkheid inhoudt. #StopISDS
In vrijwel alle bijdragen klonk grote frustratie over het gedrag van NAM/Shell/ExxonMobil: zij procederen in zeker 20 zaken (waaronder 4 arbitrages) tegen de Staat om onder hun verantwoordelijkheid uit te komen, terwijl zij voor Ternaard wél compensatie ontvangen. #StopISDS
Minister Hermans geeft zelf toe dat ze bij de #Ternaard-deal liever de de gang naar de burgerlijke rechter had afgesproken, maar NAM en ExxonMobil wilden per se arbitrage. Heeft ze dan niks geleerd van het juridische moeras rond #Groningen?
