I'm teaching my 'rest of the world' #StrathiPGCE class tonight and we are making paper aeroplanes. I promise you that online teaching about assessment criteria is much enhanced by trying to get a paper aeroplane to fly towards the camera in our Zoom class!!!
Tonight I have teachers from Germany, Russia, Armenia, Switzerland, the Czech Republic, Italy, Serbia, Spain and Belize in my #StrathiPGCE class. Our topic is BILINGUALISM. What a rich set of experiences to draw on to develop deep discussion about our teaching and learning.

On #StrathiPGCE, our students teach in international schools across the world. This week, we are watching videos of them discussing their professional development as a result of the course. What a privilege to get an insight into so many different school settings. πππ

I LOVE teaching on #StrathiPGCE. The students always make me think in new ways. This week is BILINGUALISM week. Tonight we heard some very interesting stories of how languages and accent are treated in schools across the globe. Privilege and identity are complicated issues.
#StrathiPGCE starts back tomorrow. Joining our continuing students on Tuesday are international teachers from China and on Thursday night are teachers from Switzerland and Spain.
It is in these classes that my teaching is closest to what Freire described.

#StrathiPGCE welcomed our January starts to the East and South East Asia time zone class today. We are delighted to have new students from Thailand and China. Our Rest of the World class meets on Thursday night. @StrathEDU
@Strathiainm @Jackie8Marshall and I were sad to say goodbye to our #StrathiPGCE January starts at Tues morning's E/SE Asia class and at tonight's RoW group. We have LOVED working with them all and have learned so much about being better educators because of these students. π€©
