#Greece | Pro-Kurdish protesters gathered at Syntagma Square in #Athens to condemn the massacres and attacks on #Kurdish neighborhoods in Aleppo, accusing Syria’s interim government and #Turkey-backed forces of committing war crimes.
“Stop Genocide in #Kurdistan – Defend Rojava!”
Tensions briefly escalated when a few individuals displayed the flag of Syria’s interim government. The move drew strong reactions from the crowd, and the individuals were subsequently escorted away by police and rally stewards. The flag was later burned by protesters.
