@Knickanator_ Julius Randle won.
Stephon Marbury lost.
#30Ju all day he changed the entire culture next to #Thibs.
Now let me see Mitch shoot step back 3's in the game.
Because I remember certain Knicks fans telling me and blaming Coach #Thibs for Mitchell Robinson not shooting 3's or playing like a traditional modern day 5.
π
We better Hack-A-Shaq (Hack-A-Mitch) as a Boston Celtic.
Disgusting
Shout out to Coach #Thibs man.
Without him changing the culture, ending a 7 year Playoff drought and making the Playoffs 4/5 years + 3 Postseasons in a row + back to back 50+ win seasons for the 1st time in 30 years?
New York never wins the NBA Championship last year.
@fasho2k It's why I loved #Thibs regardless of preseason regular season or Playoffs he just wanted to see his kids win.
Shout out to Mike Brown.
He proved me wrong
All I know is I've now got a #Knicks Winning #Mentality and it's something I'm not used to but it's a great thing to learn
This is where I disagree.
Coach #Thibs did help New York get a chip.
β’ Took over a 21 win team.
β’ Ended our 7 year Playoff drought.
β’ Made the Playoffs 4/5 years.
β’ Made the Playoffs 3x in a row.
β’ Back-2-Back 50+ win season 1st time in 30 years.
β’ 1st Eastern Conference Finals Appearance in 25 years.
β’ Developed Julius Randle and Donte DiVincenzo into Karl-Anthony Towns.
β’ Developed R.J. Barrett and Immanuel Quickley into OG Anunoby.
β’ Didn't play Cam Reddish in order to get Josh Hart.
To say "unlike Thibs" is imo disingenuous because Thibs did more for the Knicks than Mitchell Robinson ever did because Thibs single handedly alongside Leon Rose led New York out of complete and utter NBA darkness and developed us into true NBA Championship Title Contenders.
And then Jalen Brunson happened.
Shout out to Mike Brown for carrying the torch and helping win an NBA Championship but not even Mike Brown is in the position he's in without Thibs blood sweat and tears into this Franchise and Team.
@NYK_Mentality85 Im over it already its knick 1st i don't like self inflicted damage and unlike Thibs Mitch helped get us a chip. To think what he did for NY easily grows on the tree is where im worried. Looking at who is available has me worried. It's more to game than off
Players we've lost since Leon Rose:
Coach #Thibs.
Julius Randle.
Isaiah Hartenstein.
R.J. Barrett.
Immanuel Quickley.
Obi Toppin.
Quentin Grimes.
Cam Reddish.
Donte DiVincenzo.

It still couldn't stop Jalen Brunson from leading New York to an NBA Championship.
Bye, Mitch.
I remember Knicks fans who attacked Thibs because #Thibs got fired and then met with 15+ NCAA/NBA teams in the Offseason but he got destroyed for "meeting Boston".
Well.
Mitch better get the same hate from them.
Because Mitch didn't "meet Boston".
He just signed with our opp.
I honestly knew in my heart Mitchell Robinson was gone 2-3 months ago when he called New Yorkers weird for someone fucking with his truck.
Coach #Thibs got crucified for meeting with Boston for an Offseason practice last year.
I'll always love Mitch but he's now a Boston opp.
Shout out to Mike Brown for carrying the torch and leading New York to our 1st NBA Championship since dating back to 1973 of 53 years ago ala Red Holzman during Mike Brown's 1st year as Knicks Head Coach.
But I always promised myself I'd give Coach #Thibs a special thnx you from the bottom of my New York Knicks heart once we won our NBA Championship.
(I love you Thibs).

N.) Thibs gave Jalen Brunson the keys to the PG car and coached Jalen Brunson into becoming a 2x All-Star + 2x All-NBA + 4th Quarter Clutch Player of the Year and developed Jalen Brunson into the greatest Knick of All-Time.
O.) The Playoff experience that Jalen Brunson/Josh Hart/Mitchell Robinson/Deuce McBride gained under Thibs (CLE/MIA/PHI/INDY/DET/BOS/INDY molded this team.
P.) It was Thibs lifelong childhood dream to coach the New York Knicks because he grew up as a diehard Knicks fan since the days of his dad taking him from Connecticut to Madison Square Garden in order to watch Walt Clyde Frazier and Willis Reed play live.
Q.) Thibs installed a no fear and no quit mentality into our Core-7 last year into Jalen Brunson + Josh Hart + Mikal Bridges + OG Anunoby + Karl-Anthony Towns + Mitchell Robinson and Deuce McBride and it's why we made 3 20+ 2nd half Comebacks against Detroit and Boston (2x) during the Playoffs last year before coming back from down 22 against Cleveland and down 29 against San Antonio this year.
R.) Thibs gave me an NBA Coach who brought respect back to our Knicks Franchise for the 1st time since Patrick Ewing.

W.) We've since made the Playoffs 4 years in a row.
X.) We've since won 50+ Games 3 consecutive years in a row.
Y.) Thibs was fired. He never quit on New York like both Pat Riley and Jeff Van Gundy who both quit. He put his blood sweat and tears into his New York Knicks.
Z.) Only 6 years later (since Thibs) and we're now NBA Champions.
I'll never forget what Coach Thibs did for my favorite New York sports Franchise. He developed us into true NBA Title contenders ala 1st ECF in 25 years. Our NBA Championship book can never be written without 1st and foremost having multiple A-Z chapters being written about Coach Thibs.
"The Journey".
@yanniiiiibfit Yooooooo #Thibs you made it Coach you made it brother you finally about to have not just a wife but a Puerto Rican #WIFE!!!!
I'm so proud of you @yanniiiiibfit you made a great decision my friend!
Latest on #Bulls hiring timeline on a new OWC.
A young coach will need experienced bench help. How about #Thibs as DC?

@WFAN660 @CPTheFanchise Half the fanbase wanted #Thibs to stay, and were screaming for #Brown to be let go 3 months ago! Now, everyone loves Mike, I said from early on , the team needs time! And here we are!! #Knicks #KnicksForever
it's impossible to write a 2026 New York Knicks book about winning the NBA Championship without first and foremost writing multiple chapters about Coach #Thibs.
Any fan shitting on Thibs today is a fake fan who didn't experience missing the Playoffs 16/20 years after Ewing and before Thibs.
@bennyknicks Yes me @NYK_Mentality85 and Coach #Thibs we were wrong about Landry Shamet.
I now think Landry Shamet is Klay Thompson.
@UNIVerseDKnyte I can never kick a man when he's down and I can never pretend #Thibs isn't one of the main reasons why we're in the NBA Finals today.
Shout out to Mike Brown for carrying the torch.
But I want to give Coach #Thibs a special thnx you from the bottom of my New York Knicks heart.

@TheLoopyBlgger I loved Pat Riley.
I loved Jeff Van Gundy.
I loved Mike Woodson.
I'm loving Mike Brown.
But Coach #Thibs is my All-Time favorite because we wouldn't be here without him.
@xkayeyem @PandaMexiCaleb #Knicks all you've gotta do is talk to and compliment #Thibs and they'll get angry.
