This week Year 4 parents were invited in to do a DT activity with us. We were making an opening sarcophagus using pneumatics. It was so fantastic to have so many parents turn up. The children and teachers loved having them in with us.

Class 7 took part in an Ancient Egypt Wow Starter. They researched the era, painted feluccas on the Nile, mummified dolls, made a headdress, were archaeologists and used hieroglyphics.

The Eco Team met to look at the results of autumn bulb planting. The daffodils look beautiful and the wild flowers are on their way. They planted a spring set of wildflower seeds that should be flowering in the summer.

The Eco Team planted hanging baskets in the courtyard with the money raised from the winter fayre. More flowers were used in the planters at the front of school. Keep an eye out for the spring flowers. Broccoli and kale are growing well too.
