While there are plenty of people and entities I Hate Forever, with no shortage of them emerging in 2024, nothing quite stirs up my darkest emotions quite like the Priority Patch. Announced in February of 2024, the decision was met with almost unanimous disapproval from every loyal Red Wings fan from here to Sweden. Not only had the Wings organization decided to soil the greatest jersey in professional sports with the logo of a trash company, but they then proceeded to lose their next seven games once the unholy mark was implemented.
This seven game losing streak is considered one of the major reasons the Red Wings missed the playoffs on the last day of the season in 2024. I will never purchase or wear a jersey with the Trash Patch on it, especially not one made by Fanantics, a Hate You Forever staple and honorable mention for 2024. #LGRW
