@VCSManateeCove A6 #clarity #vcsreads I thought the "voices in the field" section was helpful. It allowed us a little glimpse into teacher clarity in action. However, I wish the pictures had been clearer and easier to see/read.

@VCSManateeCove A5 #clarity #vcsreads I think, for me, my next step will be to be more consistent and deliberate about sharing them with my students throughout my lessons. This may involve moving them to a different place where I can do that more easily.

@VCSManateeCove A4 #clarity #vcsreads I wish I had more time in my day to do a better job at this, but I read through them with my students, sometimes highlighting or underling key words, etc. To make sure they understand them I use lots of repetition, and I clarify (no pun intended) misconcept.

@VCSManateeCove A3 Thinking of math - highlighting where they went they right in work shown and indicating that they are on the right track - then through Ts/Ss conference model the correct steps. Often it is silly mistakes or no work shown in math!! #CLARITY #VCSREADS

@VCSManateeCove A2 #clarity #vcsreads I totally agree. I think, as teachers, we take our job so much to heart that it's hard to separate the task from the person. But I think doing so is very important. We are much more than the task at hand, and so are our students!

@VCSManateeCove A4 I try to make sure the opportunity is there but often it doesn’t come out until students are working and I am circulating. Then I can ask them to share when we regroup. #VCSREADS #clarity

@VCSManateeCove A3 Both. Sometimes when I’m in the midst of a lesson or after I’ve done it once (I do the same lesson 6+ times) the interaction with the students brings new questions to mind or past interactions lend me to ask new things or in different ways. #VCSREADS #clarity
