Saptagiri 70mm, RTC X Roads, Hyderabad – Recent Experience ───────────────────────── A few days ago, I went to watch #Vrusshabha at #Saptagiri70mm. I already knew the theatre isn’t great. Even during my previous visit, the experience wasn’t good because of the screen brightness—it was very low. The sound was just okay. Still, I wanted to give it another try. I was also aware that Vrishabha didn’t get good reviews and yes, the movie itself is bad. My main intention this time was to check how the theatre is now. Unfortunately, the experience was worse. The theatre is in very poor condition. There are broken chairs and there’s no proper neatness. But the biggest drawback—and the main thing I didn’t like at all—is the screen brightness. It is very, very, very low. Before this, I had visited Lalitha Theatre in Moosapet (Asian Lakshmi Kala Cinepride). Even that screen has low brightness, but Saptagiri is on another level—it’s much worse. If a scene takes place at night, you literally can’t see anything(See the attached Video). You have to watch very carefully, and even then, it’s hard to recognize the actors on screen. That’s a terrible viewing experience. What’s really surprising is that when I watched #Pindam in the same theatre earlier, the image quality was actually very good. The picture looked sharp, the brightness was good, almost like real 4K, and the sound was also impressive at that time. But after that, I’ve visited Saptagiri two more times, including this Vrusshabha show, and both experiences were very bad. They seriously need to upgrade the screen, projector, and sound system. Otherwise, watching movies here—especially dark or night scenes—is just not worth it. #HyderabadTheatres #Hyderabad
