Weekend review- Three stocks out this week, #POLR, #PAY & #RR. with two new ones in #MONY and #AAF along with an increase in position size for #VALT.
A general pull back across markets for many stocks and some cheap valuations just got cheaper still 😳Sold #RR once again as it hit 1500p target from a 1425p entry (third time in three months #RR had this same trade)
#POLR made 916p recently (sliced profits) and it has struggled to make further progress, sold 855p, in at 831p. #PAY has been in pf for the longest time and a 6% divi payer it's been range bound for some time hitting 657p and sold out last batch finally at 625p.
Surprised to see #MONY drop from over 200p to 170p's on AI fears once again (happened in both February and April) that it will be made defunct, took what I regard once again as the opportunity for a trade from 170p's to 200p+
Back in #AAF 312p from selling a few weeks ago at 350p on it's intention to IPO it's money division, shares fell further to 300p as we await float price over coming weeks, currently have a 340p sp target. #HLMA issued a decent trading update that saw it's price fall back further🤦♂️ Increased position in #VALT as it dropped like a stone from last weeks exit at 6800p to 5950p 😳added in the 6100/6200p range.
Busy week, volatile markets, bonds and geo politics affecting prices rather than stock specific issues in many cases all making stock selection a more difficult prospect as if it's not hard enough as it is. Softening the impact were dividends received from #HBR #PAY and a chunky one from #ITH..phew, we go again next week.
Weekend review- Another week of changes to the pf with #FSG and #RR. both new additions and a temporary increase in #VALT holding as it's price jumped and fell. Regular 'trading' stock #RR. (it's typically hit on oil price rises) is back in the pf as it dropped to 1425p from over 1550p once again and once again 1500p+ is the target.
#FSG went ex divi for 4% (19p) and the sp fell 5%+ (24p) so took some at 441p with 465p+ an initial target, it was 500p recently. #VALT continued it's volatile daily moves and added at 6360p as it fell from 6600p😳it quickly hit 6800p+, so banked the gains, before it sunk back to 6400p.
Next Thursday is divi pay day for #ITH (11p) & #PAY (10p) with #SDLF going ex divi for 28p. ......cash 12%....pf +81%

Weekend review- Changes galore this week with new stock #SDLF joining the pf, #HBR and #AAF leaving and increased positions in #MGNS, #ZIG and new stock #SDLF while reducing #ITH holding on it's rise.
Sold #AAF as it hit 350p (in at 345p) as it currently struggles to make progress. Sold #HBR on it's rise to 282p and reduced #ITH as it hit 288p, the 25%-30% gains too attractive to leave on the table despite the rising oil/price backdrop.
#MGNS continues to confound following it's record breaking first half results, cash balance etc. it's sp dropped again to 4000p from last weeks 4200p as 'construction' stocks were hit, so added to the 'falling knife' again 😳
Took new stock #SDLF at 933p ahead of it's ex divi for 28p (3%) on 24/09/26 on it's pull back from 960p, it fell further and added more at 924p, it then fell further to close at 915p 🙄 It's hard to call tops and bottoms it seems. Last weeks new stock #ZIG has also been misbehaving since it's ex divi day drop and took the opportunity to slip further from my buy in price of 436p so took another batch at 416p with a 460p target....cash 15%...pf +79%
#VALT ⬆️✅6485p...sunk to 6100p in early trading 😳irrational and volatile markets provide opportunity ...brokers recently raised target to 7700p.
Weekend review- Movement in the pf again this week with buys and sells for #VALT, #ZIG and #NTBR and big news for #ITH as promotion to the FTSE 100 is expected in September.
Sold #NTBR prior to ex divi day for 6% gain (same as divi) and then increased holding in platinum stock #VALT on it's rapid midweek dive from 6800p to 6300p😳adding twice in the 6300p area as it kept falling🙄before an end of week bounce to near 6700p on news they are exploring takeover options of a rival.
Took new stock #ZIG at 436p on it's ex divi day fall of 6% (26p) divi is 4% (18p) with the aim of a return to 462p+ to capitalise any gain.
A great deal of news stories during the week of gas shortages globally and concerns of lack of winter storage amazingly saw the likes of #SQZ and #HBR pull back slightly😳 the exception being #ITH that saw it's sp rise as it is now expected to enter FTSE 100 on 21/09/26 and will no doubt attract a large number of funds as it will be a top dividend payer at 8%.......cash under 5% .....pf +83%

Sold out of #ING as it's fell back since results and appears to be an 'opportunity cost', took a small 3% stock hit after earlier profits/dividends. #MGNS continues to slumber at lows despite record first half results and broker upgrades🙄and #HLMA again suffered another pull back after breaking through 3800p+ it sunk to 3500p😳....cash 8% ....pf +81%

Weekend review - A steady week across the portfolio with recent oilies #SQZ and #HBR now on 10%+ gains along with #POLR that broke through 900p+ #ICG made further progress and now sits at +25% when combined with the recent 3.5% divi. Took new stock #VALT on it's 4% drop on profit taking ahead of it's near 4% divi (ex divi day on 20/08/26) with the aim of collecting the 4% divi and/or the recovery back to 6800p+🧐price action nearer the time will determine if to hold for any 'double bubble'. #HLMA having hit 3800p+ retreated once again🙄but did send a small divi payment as consolation for the pull back. #ITH and other UK based oilies on the lookout for news on Rosebank and Jackdaw next week as the granting of new licences should provide a further boost to share price.
Pf has grown over past weeks from six to twelve stocks currently so still very concentrated by many standards . Have now deployed the cash reserve so under 5% cash now and currently pf+81%.
